//Four Skims Skimboards// Greetings to all of our loyal customers and riders! Like many other surf related companies, Four Skims started as a dream. That dream was to make a superior skimboard at any cost. A skimboard that I could feel proud riding; one that would respond the way I wanted and one that would look the way I wanted it to. You see, I was the kid on the block that always wanted to have one cool T-shirt rather than five generic ones. It didn't matter if I had to wash it everyday. With that tin mind the R&D began, and the first Four Skims' production boards took shape in 1997. well, it's now seven years later and the dream remains true. So does our integrity. When our competitors decided to take their manufacturing offshore to factories in china and Taiwan , we added another factory at home. When our competitors lowered their prices and you can bet the quality too, we stood firm and made our skimboards better and in limited quantity. It is our personal dedication to the little things that create quality and value.
I've never wanted to make the most skimboards, I've only wanted to make the best. And I believe that there will always be those people that want Cadillacs and those people that don't. those people that buy in pro shops and boutiques and those that buy in department stores. This year we have over 30 models, a clothing line for guys and girls, new hard bottom technology and don't forget to ask about our custom foam boards. Enough ranting, please enjoy the ride.
